The plumed celosia is a colorful and popular ornamental plant for beds and balconies and forms countless, intensively colored inflorescences in red, yellow, violet and orange throughout the season. The individual flowers enrich the garden for up to 8 weeks. The location should be sunny, sheltered from the wind and permeable. If the sensitive plants are overwintered frost-free, we will enjoy them for several years. The young flowers, leaves and stems can be prepared like spinach.
